XMPP Set Session Attribute Assertion

The XMPP Set Session Attribute assertion sets an attribute/value pair for a specified session given its ID and direction.

 assertion sets an attribute/value pair for a specified session given its ID and direction.
Using the Assertion
  1. Do one of the following:
    • To add the assertion to the Policy Development window, see Add an Assertion.
    • To change the configuration of an existing assertion, proceed to step 2 below.
  2. When adding the assertion, the XMPP Set Session Attribute Properties automatically appear; when modifying the assertion, right-click 
    XMPP Set Session Attribute
     in the policy window and choose
    XMPP Set Session Attribute
     Properties
    or double-click the assertion in the policy window. The assertion properties are displayed.
  3. Configure the properties as follows:
    Setting
    Description
    Direction
    For this drop-down list, indicate the direction the session: 
    Client to Server
    , or
    Server to Client
    .
    Session ID
    Enter the ID of the session attribute. You may reference a context variable.
    Attribute Name
    Enter the name of the session attribute.
    Value
    Enter the value of the session attribute.
  4. Click [
    OK
    ] when done.
