Send To Remote XMPP Host
assertion sends a message to either an XMPP client or host.Before using this assertion, ensure that at least one outgoing or one incoming XMPP connection has been defined. For more information, see Manage XMPP Connections.

To add the assertion to the Policy Development window, drag and drop the assertion from the Message Routing category in the
Assertion
tab into the policy window.Using the Assertion
- Do one of the following:
- To add the assertion to the Policy Development window, see Add an Assertion.
- To change the configuration of an existing assertion, proceed to step 2 below.
- When adding the assertion, the Send to Remote XMPP Host Properties automatically appear; when modifying the assertion, right-clickSend to Remote XMPP Host Propertiesin the policy window and chooseSend to Remote XMPP Host Propertiesor double-click the assertion in the policy window. The assertion properties are displayed.
- Configure the properties as follows:SettingDescriptionDirectionIndicate whether the message is being sent to an XMPP server or client.Client Session IDEnter the session ID of the session to which to send the message. You may reference a context variable.
- Click [OK] when done.
